We have two fridgerators in my house, one that is about 20 year olds(yellow) and one that is about 8 (white). The one that is 8 was bought for my parent's vending machine business that they do not own anymore. You would figure that the newer one would last longer than the older one. Not true, I guess they don't make fridges the way they use to. Today we realize that the motor for the white one stopped working. So we had to empty out both fridges to see what was too old, what was good and what is bad. We have very little food left in our house to eat. Luckily Shannon works at Fry's and we can get a small discount for food.
Also today we started to clean my room, I have to find my glasses and my passport. Though because of the fridge insident we only got part of the mess done. Everything by my desk is now neat other than the soda stains from my sister and the small stuff that needs to be vaccumed. My room is starting to not look like a hurricane went through it. Soon I will know where everything is in my room. A scary thought no less.
So I bought something that may shock most people. It is not something most people say they want, but I have for a while. I bought a tin whistle, I do not have it in my possition yet, but I should soon. I can see it driving my family and dogs nuts while I try playing it. It is kind of like a flute, the notes and you play it like a recorder without that stupid sound. So hopefully I'll be blasting out some jig or reel music soon.
I entered this contest to win meet and greet pass to meet Josh Groban. I am working on my entry which was to recreate the AWAKE CD cover. I have the background, which is a picture I took, but I am unsure about the rest of the thing. I am not skilled with cropping and all that stuff when making photoshop art. So I am trying to slowly find something I like, that I feel could possibly win.
