I have had two of my friends here tell me they are concerned for my health because I never finish my plate of food and I am restricted by what I can eat here on campus. They also keep asking if I have been loosing weight. Honestly, I do not think I've lost any weight, but I do not weight myself. Based on how my clothing fits I would not say I have lost much weight at all.
Sarah told me that she was concerned about me because to her I have lost a lot of weight and I do not finish my food. She thinks I am going to become paper thin or something.
This is not the first time people have told me they are concern about my eating habits and health. I just do not know how to explain to people that I rarely am able to eat a standard American size diner plate, without getting to be the size of a balloon. I eat until I am full and eat only when I am hungry. I do snack a lot and usually it is junk food too. So It's not like my eating habits is any worse it's just because I do not eat like the average person that people get all in a hizzy.
I just don't know why people get on me for my eating habits, I am not super skinny or extremely over weight. I would consider myself average in size and weight. I may not always like my body, but I am not one of those crazy people who go on diet after diet, or work out too much. If I ate the same and then worked out I would be thiner and I am not sure if their concern would be anything less.
