I am still sick with the flu I guess is what I have. On and off most the day I feel feverish and sometimes I have to fight staying at school or going to class. It was not gotten any worse and I kind of would like it to either go away or get worse so I know that I am over it or getting over it. This limbo stage of being sick is never good. You do not know what is going to happen or if you should be resting in bed or something else. I also have a hemroid (like you need to know that) so I'm in a lot of pain and compromising situation here.
I went to my yoga class this morning and we really did a lot of knee strengthers. My knees are slightly burning, but not in bad pain I use to get when I would have knee pain. My knees could use some strengthening, a lot of time they shake in some positions. Also my core is getting some good work out and maybe I won't have to keep buying biggere size pants. Most of mine are now too tight to wear and I've had to buy a new pair of jeans. They are a little big, but the next size down is too small. I'd try women's instead of juniors, but I never like the cut of the jeans. I am not even sure how I'm gaining weight, I do walk a lot everyday, even more when I am working, I do not sit and big out on food or anything. I am not eating lots of carbs either since I have been having an allergic reaction to wheat/gluten.
I finally had ASU changes my on-line status to incomplete to complete. Finally they say they have my HS transcript and now I am just waiting for the word if I go accepted. I have almost everything sent to UPS and Oregon except my UA transcripts are in the mail I assume and I am finishing up my essay for UPS. I was going to submit my Polar Bear paper, but I think it is not my best. So I wrote a new essay on my years of playing the flute and why I gave it all up. I actually was a little emotional thinking about it all. I hope that it is something they will like. So like I said before by next month I should know which schools I got into. I am sure on ASU and UPS being yes, but I am not sure about Oregon. I would LOVE to get in and go, but I am not sure if they will accept me based on my transcripts and my declared major of pre-marine biology.
I've been getting ready for St. Paddy's Day, My family is mostly Irish so I tend to celebrate that a little more. I bought a shamrock cookie-cutter, only $0.79 and a window cling that has shamrock and the word "IRISH" that is on my mirror. I also decided to look up the information on the parade PHX has every year, but we never seem to go. I asked my mom if we could go since it's the week of Spring Break and would be fun to go to. They also have a faire at the Irish Culture Center. I did not know we even had an Irish Culture Center. Appearently besides putting on the parade they also have classes on music, dance and langauge. I also found a vegan verison of Shamrock Shakes, mostly just green mint milkshakes. I also have been listening to Flogging Molly non-stop. I have their lastest CD (Within A Mile of Home), but downloaded a few of the other songs of theirs I like. They will be at the Mesa Amphatheater on St. Paddy's Day, but I don't think I will be going. Money and no one willing to go with are the issues.
