I love hearing the sound of rain while I am getting ready for bed and going to sleep. It's a sound I never get to hear back home. I do miss hearing the coyotes howling, but rain falling is a new sound to me. It puts me to sleep easy. I know it's almost 3 a.m., but still I have not slept yet.
I was hanging out with a bunch of the people who live in my building. Watching Sweet Home Alabama with the girls, and then chatting in Derick's room and they playing Wii in Ryan's room. It's fun living and being around other people. I forgot what it is like to be around people like this. Where I can just forget about everything and have several good laughs. The one sucky thing is that when the years is over, we will all move to either different schools or different places.
Today I had an appointment with an academic adviser to see if changing majors was the best for me. She told me that a lot of people have a good interest in sciences, but have trouble the the courses like chemistry. So she told me it was a smart idea to change my major. She asked me if I knew what I would like to switch to. I told her history and she said it was a good department and it is all spelled out for what I need to do to get my degree. I have to see the history department to see one of their advisers to switch and get everything together. I was going to walk over to the department, but when I was coming down the elevator in Oregon Hall it was pouring rain and I did not have an umbrella with me. I seem to forget it all the time, I don't use one back home.
So on Monday I will go to there on Monday. A bunch of the girls are going to sleep out for football tickets. I think I will go with them since I have yet to go to a game and I would like to.
